In our experience, Google and other search engines do not care if you use www or not. For the older generations, www symbolizes a website. For the new generations, this is no longer the case. They will type the domain name without the www and expect the browser to resolve correctly.

A URL with www is not the same as one without. In more common English, the two are different pages on a website. A properly configured web server sends the traffic to one or the other, with www or non-www. If such a configuration is not done, Google may penalize you for an incorrect setup.

Choices, choices...

The choice of domain name appears simple. Our practical experience shows it is anything but.

Ideally, you want a domain name that is:

• descriptive of your business
• easy to remember
• as short as possible

You need to keep Search Engine Optimization in mind as well.

Domain names matter

We are excited to have not only facilitated the sale of the domain KEMT.com, but to be involved in the rebranding and the design of a state of the art website based on the Drupal 8 Content Management System.

And this is our first time in the field of adult entertainment or escorts.

We are excited to have contracted the redesign of a website for BEST GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE, a market leader in the area of vip escorts. The new website will be based on the Drupal 8 Content Management System, which we implement for most of our projects.

DuckDuckGo switching Maps

Zdnet reported yesterday that search engine DuckDuckGo is switching their mapping solution.

The search engine's current mapping solution, crowd sourced OpenStreetMap, will be replaced by Apple.

THE VERGE has reported that Google has transferred the domain Duck.com to DuckDuckGo Corporation.

Today Apple released iOS 10.3 and watchOS 3.2, new releases of the operating system which include the Apple File System.  Apple revealed (APFS) at last year's World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC). Unusually, Apple does not mention APFS in the list of features in iOS 10.3.
